We used Holloway Removals to transport goods between our three premises. They ensured the equipment was safe and protected from damage and completed everything promptly.

The team, Kayann and Gabriel, arrived on time with friendly attitudes and listened to our recommendations. They worked hard all day even when raining. Both men did their very best and didn’t give up when our couch proved bigger than the lift. Determined to get the last item up to the third floor, they pushed themselves to make it happen. Legends! Today we moved from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from our movers. It was a very long day, moving from a 3bdrm apartment to a 2bdrm apartment with a completely different set of BC rules. The head guy was upbeat the whole day and intermittently reported to me on the progress, and the order he was intending to load the next items. Every item made it to its new home unscathed. Amazing service.

Great job by John Lucas and axel. On time, great care in packing and unpacking. Even managed to get a king size mattress onto the top floor bedroom by raising it up over the rear balcony. Very hot day and they didn’t miss a beat. Recommend anytime.

Moving isn't easy but with this team I could not have been happier. Two trucks, 6 modules for a large 4 bedroom home with 4 team on site. The rates were competitive for pick up, storage and return and there was nothing damaged or broken whilst in storage for a year. Easy monthly payment for storage made it easy to budget. The pick up went very smoothly 12 months ago and the delivery was also seamless. It was efficient and the delivery team were wiry and strong! No bumps or damage to my house either. Not one. Each item was placed exactly where I wanted in the home. I was also provided brilliant support from Martyn B at the office in preparation for the return of my goods. I would use them with confidence again.

The two professionals that arrived from Hollaway Removals were on time, courteous and hard working. The whole move was done in record time. The payment process was well explained and executed by the removalist at the end of the day with ease.

Fantastic Experience. Having been many years since moving, it was a little daunting starting again. Holloways genuinely both eased my concerns and executed a flawless move. From Simon who delivered the boxes, and assured me that our load would fit in the truck and advised what furniture to dismantle ahead of time. The two men from Holloway did an amazing & efficient job carrying our furniture and boxes up 3 flights of uneven external stairs and navigating tricky and narrow internal staircases. Very impressed by their strength, fitness and athleticism, as well as their precision as to not scratch or bump any internal walls or damage any furniture. Would recommend, particularly for challenging properties with lots of tricky stairs or narrow spaces!!

Couldn't be happier with the guys they sent and the job they did. Fabio and his offsider (i didn't catch his name, apologies) were professional, worked hard and managed to unload an ungodly amount of items into a small room, it was truly like watching grown men Tetris our belongings into a room they had no right fitting into. Today, Holloway Removals delivered my furniture that they had been storing for almost seven months. I rarely leave reviews as i think good service should be the norm, but I am more than happy to write about how good my experience has been so far with Holloway Removals and Storage. Gustavo and Hans were the removalists and were professional, efficient and friendly. I could not recommend them more highly. My initial contact with Holloway was with James who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and provided the perfect solution for what I was looking for. I had to move and storage my furniture quickly by myself and this was a stress free solution that was good value as well. Highly recommend to anyone moving or looking for storage solutions.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the initial booking/consultation to the actual removal, I have been incredibly happy with the service provided. On the day, Gabriel and his team worked together amazingly and got the job done in great time, with not a single complaint from anyone despite having to carry multiple heavy items of furniture down 50 stairs. We have needed to use Holloway 3 times in the last 4 months. Bruno Grusmao & Louis twice and the Baldino Team once (3-man team). All up equal to a 3 bed house. Both teams have been excellent - friendly, efficient, careful and most of all calm which helped me stay calm during what can be a very stressful experience. They made it look effortless. The Baldino Team had to deal with a number of pieces of furniture with glass, and stairs, they didn’t complain, knew exactly what to do and took great care of everything. Both teams managed the tight corners with ease, and they arrived on time every time. Thanks boys, truly appreciate the effort put in.

On the morning of our house move, our booked removalists cancelled on us with no follow up plans. We then called Holloway desperate for help and they were incredible. They were able to book us in very last minute with an accurate arrival window so we could keep all our other house move plans (bond cleaners, pest spray etc) in place. Julie Valdez of Holloway was professional and dealt with our problem immediately. She was in constant contact and was able to resolve the situation in the minimum time possible. The issue itself is another story and nothing to do with Julie, who represents Holloway very well.

We had a good experience with Holloway Removals and Storage. The removalists worked exceptionally hard, never complaining despite having to ferry our belongings up a long battle-axe driveway. There was a mix-up with the truck size and storage units on delivery, but the team went out of their way to sort it out quickly. John at the warehouse was especially helpful and flexible when we needed to access our stored items. Overall, their service was professional and reliable, and we’d happily recommend them.

I contacted Holloway to move my old 3 bedroom house to my new 4 bedroom house. From the beginning dealing with Kyran was easy and professional and nothing was a hassle for him. A big props too Team Luis, they did all the heavy lifting for me making the move an easy experience. Everyone I dealt with was fantastic and I couldn't recommend these guys enough. Will definitely be using them in the future.

The D and D team, from Holloway, were so great with our move. They worked so hard all day. Didn’t complain at all about our steep driveway (they embraced it!) We’re super professional and very polite. Would highly recommend. They boys were absolutely fantastic.

Bruno Grusmao and Giovanni did a great job of moving our two bedrooms of belongings from Melbourne into a one-bedroom apartment in Sydney, under access conditions that weren’t ideal and made the job longer than it would otherwise have been. They were helpful and obliging at all times. Highly recommended.

UPDATE: Customer service had emailed offering a partial refund to remove the review which I had turned down. I offered an update instead if they took accountability and offset the cleaning of the upholstery which they now have. Pleasantly surprised they had done so hence this update from 1 star to their requested 4. Facts are left above for you to decide on your own which is what I think is more important. ---- 2 bedroom (2nd room being an office with no bed) took 7 hours. Was okay with time because we saw the guys working the whole time. Crew was very nice & hardworking. Even tipped them afterwards for working throughout lunch. There were visble minor dirt on my white upholstered furniture and they looked concerned. I told them it could've been avoided if they cling wrapped them as they were supposed to. I did say to not worry about it on as we had carpet cleaning scheduled the next day. However, we didnt realise the extent of the dirt there was until we moved them around. We thought it was a small area. We provided photos with time stamps to their support desk and their reply was - "Its very hard to determine how this damage happened as the lounge looks like it was wrapped and not from our team as we provide plastic strink wrap. To close this off happy to offer a $100 refund". - They provided a photo of the couch with wrapping I had down as their proof .... take note ---> that I had done. I used a bunnings couch plastic which the movers removed as it was flimsy. This particluar item was then cling wrapped by the movers. This was that item with the minor dirt. I provided a photo showing their own cling wrap work showing the tear on wrapping which caused the dirt. The rest of our upholstered furniture were NOT wrapped at all. This had the major dirt. They had also scratched the screen of my work monitor. I had been fair in my email and didnt even include damage that we felt were reasonable such as a dent on our fridge because the entry was tight. Their response to us possibly lying is just bull. The photo clearly showed the dirt were new, muddy & wet. They were not from usage. They can also see that the item that they did cling wrap still had the wrapping… which at the very least prove it was from the move. I didnt take their $100 offer after being insulted of lying. I still think the boys were one of the nicer, hardworking guys ive dealt with. I would just recommend to watch them like a hawk and make sure they cover and take care of your main furniture and appliances. Their customer service alone though is enough for me to never use them again. Booking was also horrendous. Original guy refused to respond to emails. He only dealt with you if via a phone call. I wanted things in writing. Shout out to James who eventually took over and sorted the scheduling & deposit payment

Edited from original post in December 2024 For the actual move 5 stars: PK Team Victor and Gabriel did a great job. Very friendly service, nothing was too hard, went above and beyond. Even put our annoying bed suite together after a hard day moving from an apartment upstairs. Would recommend. Following the move, issues arose with payment of the deposit. I was initially accidentally charged twice and was told to fix it with my bank. It turned out the problem was not on my end. Demand for payment and several conversations and stressful moments later, all was resolved thanks to the Technology area. Holloway Customer Service looked after me in the end for the inconvenience.

We moved two apartments into a house and overall everything was great. A loved piece of wooden furniture was broken, and a wine glass, but otherwise it was amazing service. The team that was sent were super nice and professional. Holloway logistics always managed my expectations so I would definitely use them again. Oh, and they moved my upright piano too!

I had a grate removal experience with Bruno, The boys were grate helped clear and unload 2 whole houses in less than 7 hours Would highly recommend Holloway removals 👍🏻

Pros: - clear and easy communication from office crew - removalists were friendly and followed any directions well - accessing storage was facilitated easily by warehouse team - arrived on time and no complaints (even with all the stairs!) - brought everything needed to storage whitegoods and tech safely - tech to support invoicing, etc. Cons: - Tempe location may not work best for Western Sydney users due to travel time costs and storage access. - no recommendation email to clients on prepping whitegoods for long term storage to limit mould growth. I was too time poor to think of this detail in the ramp of to storing items and then they were stored with the doors closed = mould growth. Also would be good to train on-site staff on this to help customers. All sorted after a deep clean of both including the filters - but cost half a day of unpacking time.

We moved from a 2 bed apartment to a 3 bed townhouse. Our apartment was on the top floor of a three storey building with no lift. Tiago and Diego were so great! They were fast and took great care with our furniture and boxes and made sure not to knock any walls in our freshly painted townhouse. We had some tricky pieces/situations and they navigated them very well. They were very polite and very strong. The properties were about a 30min drive away from each other and all up it took about 4.5 hours. Would recommend them to anyone!

Holloway moved our office and did an amazing job. The three movers worked solidly and studiously for 13 hours. They were thoughtful and courteous. They were absolute champions. The job would have been quicker with four movers as quoted instead of three, but fortunately our own staff were happy to keep watch of the truck as it was being unloaded. The move was small in distance (200m) but complex because of the inner-city locations for pick up and drop off. We appreciated someone coming out prior to quoting to inspect the pickup location, quantity of stuff and the drop-off. Would certainly recommend and we were happy to give the movers a cash tip for their efforts.

The warehouse team are great! Mitch is always super helpful with lifting boxes whenever I need to get something from my storage. My last visit, Chris gave me a hand and actually helped me find what I was looking for after I spent ages looking for it. Everyone is always so kind! Unreal service and professional manner - our previous removalist cancelled the day before but referred us to Holloway - they managed the delivery from start to finish, with a professional and positive outlook. We were moving a 3 bedroom house from a difficult to access house to a pole house (also difficult) over a short distance which may have scared off the other removalists but not Holloway - it was all done in a reasonable time and nothing was damaged. Can't recommend them enough!

We moved a 3 bedroom apartment into a 3 bedroom house, using both the packing and moving services. We moved about 15 minutes drive away. This went exactly to plan and I was really impressed with how the two services fit together and made the entire experience streamlined. All out belongings were fully wrapped and packed into boxes in the 4 hour session and then the move occurred within 5 hours the following day. It all went fast, smooth and didn't really require much involvement from us. If you just don't want to think about the move and get it done with no fuss I highly recommend booking these servces.

Bruno Grusmao and Rhenato Grusmao are the best. They are super friendly, always smiling from the start till the end of the job and very agile. They helped us move from our 1 bedroom unit from Surry Hills to Mascot area and the moving experience was perfect. Completed the job efficiently. Gletson and Victor were on time, efficient, professional, quick and did a high quality job dismantling furniture, moving and assembling furniture. The only area for improvement is that the truck was a bit small to fit everything in. We carried a few boxes and suitcases in our car. The person who booked the job should have booked a 12 tonne truck. Either way, very happy with the service, highly recommend them.

The whole team were great to work with. And fast. There was a slight glitch with my return delivery but the management were professional and upfront about it. Everything went like clockwork. All workers from customer service to the actual removalists were so pleasant, professional, positive and accommodating. They all knew their jobs well and communicated regularly. Our move involved furniture from 2 sites to one, plus storage between moving out and moving in. It was so economical to store furniture for a few days which removed all the stress of a simultaneous settlement. All three crews were great communicators and lovely to have around during what could have been a stressful few days but wasn't at all because of the care they took and the lovely nature of all 6 removalists.

From the first phone call to my stuff being delivered, the whole experience was amazing. Communication at the start was a little slow but after the small hiccup with the quote, everything else was communicated well. My goods were even delivered well before the original quoted time. The boys packing and unpacking were amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

I had to move on short notice and reached out to the Holloway Removals team who were able to organise everything within 48 hours. Communication was excellent and I was kept updated every step of the way. Absolutely huge shoutout to Vini and Allan who genuinely couldn’t have provided a better service. They were friendly, efficient and went above and beyond to make it work when the move turned out to be a bit more difficult than expected. Not only did they comfortably move a couch that 3 movers struggled with previously, when it was clear that it wasn’t going to fit up the stairwell at the new apartment they offered to disassemble it and then reassembled it once it made it into the apartment when I had basically resigned myself to buying a new couch. They were also extremely careful and considerate of a few items that I flagged as fragile and / or more expensive in both their packing and actual movement of the contents. Probably towards the more expensive end when it comes to removalists, but worth every dollar. Highly recommend.

Bruno Grusmao and Renato Grusmao were very careful with our belongings, friendly and made our move stress free. We moved a 2 bedroom townhouse about 15 mins away. Started on time and lay blankets down to protect the new carpet. They were very thoughtful throughout.

Just finished moving from our 3 bed house to 2 bed appt, Viv and Allan were great and didn't stop for the whole time. They solved the problem of a giant fridge versus small door and did it all with smiles on their faces. Wouldn't hesitate it recommending Holloway, I will definitely use them again
