Great experience with Holloways. We got the 1/2 garage size storage unit which was big and clean. Blankets provided as well for covering items. Very easy to unload car loads, lots of room and close to the storage unit. Overall great value for money - will be coming back.

They sent a friendly message 1st thing in the morning giving us an ETA, arrived on time, managed to (somehow.!) reverse the trucks up our long and awkard driveway, then introduced themsleves with smiles that made you instantly believe they were going to take care of you and your things.. At the end of November last year, we moved houses with the help of Holloway Removals. Pedro and his team (Baldino team) provided exceptional service throughout the move. I had a massive weekend of moving and Holloway had helped us every step of the way. They assisted us with packing and Ananda and Patricia, put so much care and effort in making sure everything is packed and ready to move. They have made sure that everything is secure and properly labelled. They are very respectful and efficient and would definitely recommend them. They move went on without a hitch and the movers made sure everything is properly cared for. Every items we have got move with no damage and were all handled with care.

I was extremely satisfied with the service provided by Danillo and Lucas. They arrived right on time and handled the entire move with exceptional care. They were especially mindful of my newly sanded floorboards, taking extra precautions to ensure nothing was scratched or damaged. Absolutely Outstanding Service! Lucas and Matthew from Holloway Removals were amazing! From start to finish, they went above and beyond, taking time to wrap furniture, mattresses and appliances with care to ensure everything arrived at our new home in perfect condition. They managed to navigate tricky, tight spaces with our oversized furniture and exercise equipment. I’ve had less-than-great experiences with removalists in the past, so I was a bit wary, but these guys have completely changed my mind about the process. Friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient, they took all the stress and worry out of moving day. Their truck named Bear arrived right on time (the location could also be monitored by GPS), and the whole process was smooth, safe, and stress-free. I’ll definitely be using Holloway Removals again for any future moves. Highly recommended!

Dealt with John May at Holloway’s Woolli Creek depot. Cheeky, fun and incredibly helpful, John is a legend. He was quick, extremely practical and helped me and my friend retrieve some heavy and quite challenging items. I even got my ute wedged between two wooden containers - you guessed it, John sorted it in less than a minute. Besides John (who I can’t rate highly enough), the other depot guys were first rate, considerate and eager to help. Well done Holloway - you’ve employed guys like John and the rest of the team and you should be damn lucky to have them!

A delicate move back in of remaining bulky heavy furniture onto freshly restored floorboards of a small Queenslander with a narrow corridor. I made a last minute overnight booking and the team promptly responded to organise arrival on time, and delivery on time. Everyone, everything was impressively efficient, from staff follow up on telephone / email contacts to the two guys who did the job on site within the timeframe. What was required was clearly understood, and they were complying to all instructions, very caring, no damage whatsoever on the floors or the furniture. Even got a small discount. Highly recommended, and a big word of thanks for a great help.

I had a fantastic moving experience with the Baldino team moving house last weekend. There was no job too difficult for them and they were happy to help with everything from wrapping furniture I was putting in storage to getting some huge cactus plants down three flights of stairs from a top floor balcony, to finally removing the front door to get my outdoor furniture into the new house then putting the front door back on, it was probably the heaviest door possible! These guys were amazing and I can’t recommend them more highly.

James P my interstate relocation contact, helped manage my needs, and my Sydney to Melbourne move with professionalism and great patience and care. Yossi and Avlin moved my 3 brm house contents from storage to a 2brm unit up a flight of stairs. They were nothing but amazing. Fast, friendly, professional and looked after everything beautifully. I'm a senior and I did not have previous experience on interstate moves, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with Holloway's service. Even the concierge of our MEL apartment building made a positive unsolicited comment about the Holloway personnel. The same at the SYD end after two months of storage. The workers were polite and careful with our furniture and belongings. Nothing lost, nothing damaged, arrived on time. What else could I ask. By the way the person that helped me estimate the space I needed and the advice I got on minimising insurance cost was good as well. We did our part as well by using HD cartons and protecting furniture with bubble wrap (most of which may have been unnecessary) given the protective blankets Holloway provided.

Terrible customer service and experience. We asked specifically for a bigger truck because of the number of fragile items required to be moved. We agreed to pay at a higher rate because of this. On the day of moving, a small truck arrived. The removalists spent significant amount of time trying to fit everything into the truck and calling their manager to ask for advice. Unfortunately, they were not able to fit everything into the truck without damaging our belongings. Holloway agreed for us to complete two trips without charging the travel time for the second trip. After the move, I was surprised to see the bill as we were charged the travel time (just over 2.5 hours in total or approx. $500). Our total bill was so much higher than what it should have been (over $2100) for a two-bedroom apartment. We raised this concern the following day only to be told that the issues will be investigated and rectified within 24-48 hours. It’s been over 72 hours now, and I have not heard any updates. This is very disappointing as money was taken from my account straightaway and there has been 0 communication since I last called. To make the matter worse, one of the removalists hit the wall in our apartment with one of our items. The removalist admitted to this and I already provided the photo evidence via email (as requested). I was informed that compensation will be provided on the moving day but I have not received anything or heard back regarding this for 4 business days now. It’s been a very frustrating experience to say the least. I hope that Holloway steps up and takes responsibility. I understand that mistakes happen but please fix these problems so that we can all move forward. EDIT: Holloway took responsibility and refunded $907. They also got my wall fixed. I wish the communication was a bit better throughout this process. However, I was happy with the final outcomes, and the reviews were edited accordingly.

This removal company is excellent. The two men who moved our furniture from Frankston to Corinella on the 8/8/25 were hard working, polite and respectful of our belongings and us. I obtained many quotes pre move and decided on the hourly rate through this company and lm so glad l did. Highly recommend.

Holloway Removals were fantastic with our interstate move. It was a difficult and challenging move. A four bedroom house and building materials. We used two 20 foot shipping containers. Marie, from the office, was instrumental in ensuring our move went smoothly. She was highly conscientious and had a lot of contacts and experience which made us feel comfortable with engaging their services. We moved from Melbourne to Airlie Beach in far North Queensland. The two removalists on the day were respectful with our items, arrived on time, friendly and worked a full day. All our items were packed in the containers in one day. I think there names were Max and Pedro. Just fantastic. The containers were driven to the train depot, placed on two seperate trains to Mackay and then two semi trailers picked up the containers and delivered the goods to our property. All goods arrived in the same condition that we packed them. The two containers arrived in about 2 weeks which was very quick. We packed all our items ourselves. I suggest you do this yourself. That way, you know your items will arrive intact. This was a monumental move that was a logistical challenge. I would not hesitate in using Holloway Removals again.

Could not be more impressed with Holloway after our experience today moving house. We arrived at our storage unit to find that, without any notice, the power was cut for scheduled maintenance. No lifts to the unit… and no lights. Pitch black. But with a smile, Guastavo and Dhiogo moved a house load of items down perilous stairs and into the truck with nothing more than lights from iPhones to guide their way. Fridges, sofas… the lot. It was truly remarkable. They took utmost care to wrap and protect everything before transit and it was all taken into our new home without a scratch. Those two are worth their weight in gold and I hope Holloway management sees this. Thank you.

I have three good comments to make about my recent experience. First, the arrangements were made over the telephone and were then confirmed the day before the move. The assessment of my need was accurate and the quoting was clear and precise. Second, the driver was late on the day but he telephoned me to say that he was running late. They placed everything with great care, heavy boxes on the bottom, lighter stuff on top. Items were wrapped for protection and strapped for stability - you’d expect all this, but you don’t often get it with such attention to detail. Highly recommended!

The 2 guys that came were polite and nice. They were quick and communication was amazing. I had a 2 bedroom town house and they took a range of furniture and boxes and then unloaded at my new property which was hr away and did it in just over 5 hr block which was awesome. I had a great experience with Team JC Removals — Johnatan and Augusto were absolutely excellent. From the moment they called to let me know they were five minutes away, I was a bit anxious about how they’d manage to park their huge truck on our small, narrow, one-way street. But I was genuinely impressed by their incredible driving skills — they carefully reversed the truck without scratching any cars or disturbing the neighbourhood. That meant a lot to me, as I didn’t want to cause any trouble for our lovely neighbours. The moving process itself went just as smoothly. They were thoughtful and checked with me throughout to make sure the right furniture and boxes were being moved, even handling extra items from a different floor without any issues. Everything was packed carefully into the storage module. On top of that, both Johnatan and Augusto were super friendly and attentive to all my requests. The move was a fair distance from Hoppers Crossing to Patterson Lakes and they arrived shortly after us. They did a good job and made the move less daunting.

Called Holloway removals yesterday around 1pm to book for same day removal as the previous company (CBD Removals) failed to complete the task. They were able to send 2 guys (Allen and Fernando) straight away! The boys were very professional upon arrival and made the whole experience stress free. I appreciate the service and highly recommend anyone needing removals to use these guys and request those boys. Stay away from CBD removals

The Baldino team packed and moved our 3 bedroom house and garage contents from Sydney to Parkes NSW 5 hrs away. The removalist s were very hard working.professional and friendly.great communication they arrived on time unpacked our perfectly packed goods. What an amazing service and what a professional team . From the time they arrived we received a call to notify us that they where outside , can in introduced them selfs showed my the time they arrive and I confirmed and signed . They packed out items and wrapped it with such care. We had a standing piano and my word !!! Never seen a team work together to get the piano on to the truck with team work and care. Can’t thank the team enough . Will definitely be calling them again .

I recently used Holloway Removals again. I have used them numerous times in the past with no problems. This move was the furthest move to date and they did a great job. The two men from the Baldino team - Pedro and Caio were so friendly, polite and helpful. I couldn't fault them. They arrived on time, didn't waste a moment to get started and worked efficiently for the entire move. They took great care with my belongings and placed everything exactly where I asked them to. I will continue to recommend Holloway to anyone needing a removalist who can be relied upon to do the best job possible.
