Federica- “How does it feel to be crowned the AFRA Removalist of the year? Did you practise any victory dance?”
Paul- “It’s amazing, I didn’t practise a victory dance, it’s gonna take a while to sync in. I know it’s just an award, but it means so much to me!”
Federica- “Who would you like to thank for helping to achieve this incredible recognition?”
Paul- “It’s a team effort and it’s not just me winning it. I want everyone from our team to win it.”

Paul- “How the removals industry is, it brings different tasks & challenges everyday and solving them is what keeps me going everyday!”

Aditya: Hey Chris, just wanted to say a big thank you to you and Maria for attending the conference on behalf of Holloway Removals. How did it go?
Chris: Thanks, Aditya! It was a fantastic experience. The conference was a great platform to meet and network with other AFRA removalists. It’s always good to connect with peers in the industry and share insights.
Aditya: That’s awesome to hear! I imagine it’s a valuable event for business owners and leaders to socialise and come together as well.
Chris: Absolutely! It’s a great opportunity to not only socialise but also to learn a lot from the various keynote speakers. They covered some interesting topics, like new techniques, insurances, worker-related issues, and even new technologies that can benefit our industry. We also learned about innovative methods of communicating with customers.
Aditya: Sounds like it was packed with useful information. Were there any discussions about workplace laws or changes in the insurance space?
Chris: Yes, definitely. There were sessions on new workplace laws and changes in the insurance landscape. These are crucial for us to stay updated on, especially with the constant changes in regulations. They also had sessions focused on people and business management, which are always insightful.
Aditya: That’s great to hear. Anything else that stood out to you?
Chris: The highlight for me was definitely the award ceremonies. Maria and Paul were finalists, and it was exciting to see Paul take the crown. It’s always motivating to see our team members recognised for their hard work.
